Noetic Learning Math Contest
On November 13, 2018, three students from Crete Middle School competed in the semi-annual Noetic Learning Math Contest. The contest was conducted through the Enrichment program led by Mrs. Karen Drevo.
Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national mathematics contest for elementary and middle school students. The goal of the competition is to encourage students' interest in math, to develop their problem-solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.
More than 24,000 students representing 561 schools across the country took part in this fall’s contest.
The Cardinal Mathletes team consists of Nolan Miller, Alex Eltze, and Nick Eltze. Nolan was the team winner as well as qualifying for the National Honor Roll, which puts him in the top 10% of participating mathletes.
Congratulations to all three participants. The contest results demonstrate our students’ great problem-solving skills and math talents.
