Four Crete FBLA members and their adviser traveled to Baltimore, Maryland from June 27 to July 2 for FBLA National Leadership Conference.  Students participated in competitive events, leadership workshops, general sessions, and tour activities. Highlights of the trip included:

  • Kevin Coffey placed 4th in the nation in Introduction to Business

  • Jessilyn Coe & Claire Holling recognized for attaining the Business Achievement Award--America Level focusing on leadership, business skills, and involvement in the community & is the highest national recognition for FBLA members

  • Daniel Schroeder was the sole Nebraska representative competing in the Networking Concepts event

  • Attending a Baltimore Orioles baseball game at Camden Yard

  • Visiting several Baltimore landmarks including Fort McHenry, the Inner Harbor, and Medieval Times

Students learned a lot, had a great time, and were great representatives of Crete.  The Crete FBLA Leadership Team will soon be planning for another successful year of FBLA.
