Geography Bee Winner

Brandon, an eighth grader, is the Geography Bee Champion at Crete Middle School. He competed against other seventh and eighth grade Crete students.
The Geography Bee is sponsored by the National Geographic Society. The students study geographical concepts including map skills, patterns of languages, religions, economic activities, populations, and political systems. Topics covering physical phenomena such as tectonic activity, landforms, climate, and plant and animal life are included.
Brandon now moves on to the next level, which requires him to complete a written test. From all the school winners around the state, approximately 50 are chosen to compete in Omaha at the State Championship. Congratulations Brandon!
