Each week the students at Crete Elementary have an opportunity to buy popcorn as an afterschool snack. Each month a different grade level is responsible for the popcorn sales and in return they receive the profit. The money earned goes toward special classroom projects for their classroom. The Crete Elementary Student Council is excited to announce that during the month of February our students will be giving back the sales of the popcorn to different organizations in need.
All sales on February 10th will go toward “Helping Haiti.” All sales on February 17th will go toward the Juvenile Diabetes Research. All sales on February 24th will kick off our campaign for “Pennies for Patients.” Our Pennies for Patients campaign will be running through the end of March.
The public is welcome to come by the lunch room at the Crete Elementary from 3:10-3:30 any Wednesday during the month of February and pick up a bag of popcorn. Popcorn is sold for .50 cents a bag. The entire .50 cents will go toward the different organizations.
