Open the Doors to Opportunities for You and Your Family

English as a Second Language (ESL)

  • Free daytime and evening classes
  • Must register prior to attending class
  • Must be at least 16 and not enrolled in school

 

GED (High School Equivalency)

  • Free daytime and evening classes
  • Must register before attending class
  • Must be at least 16 and not enrolled in school
  • $120.00 testing fee

 

Citizenship Classes

  • Offered three times a year
  • Requires some English reading and writing skills

 

Family Literacy

  • Free daytime classes
  • Includes adults and children 10 and under
  • Includes child care when space is available

 

Migrant Education Program

  • For children and young adults ages 0-21 with a qualifying move
  • Qualifying move may occur when the move was to work in agriculture or meat-packing plants.
  • Benefits may include free preschool and free summer school.
  • Classes for Out of School Youth (OSY)

 

Sixpence Program

  • For pregnant or parenting teens and adults
  • High school elective credit available
  • Assistance with locating quality child care
  • Home visitors to provide in-home parenting assistance
  • Support groups
