Construction Continuing on Middle School Addition

The north and south additions to the middle school are continuing to make progress as we make way for the 5th graders to move to the middle school next fall.

The brick is now being applied to the north addition – which will include a new art room and resource room, and this area will be enclosed shortly as the windows are installed. The exterior walls to the south addition (which will house 7 new classrooms) are now up, and the ceiling is being installed.

We look forward to completing this project in the next several months. As part of the planning process, ongoing discussions are taking place with both the elementary and middle school teaching staffs to prepare for the 5th grade transition.
