CPS Trust Receives Donation from Class of 1964

Thank You Class of 1964
The Crete High
School Class of 1964 recently held their 45 year class
reunion. In memory of their deceased classmates, the members of the
class donated $295 to the Crete Public Schools Trust
Foundation.
The wonderful
support of alumni, community members, businesses and friends of
Crete Public Schools has provided numerous annual scholarships and
improved educational opportunities to benefit students and
staff.
Contributions to
the Trust Fund continue to assist Crete’s graduating seniors as
they pursue their college careers. The Trust awarded over $29,000
to graduates this year. In addition, special donations from
individuals and families have added to the fund’s endowment. These
dollars help provide grants for instructional resources of all
kinds, as well as research and curriculum development.
Crete Public
Schools continues to strive for excellence. Donations help provide
resources for these high standards. Thank you Class of 1964
for investing in the future of our schools and our students.
