Below is a listing of our grade levels and the corresponding reading level. It is our goal that all children are instructed in the Signature level for their grade:
Signature K Kindergarten 160 lessons
Signature 1 First Grade 160 lessons
Signature 2 Second Grade 150 lessons
Signature 3 Third Grade 140 lessons
Signature 4 Fourth Grade 140 lessons
Signature 5 Fifth Grade 120 lessons
Some students are in Corrective Reading. Here are the grade
levels for Corrective Reading:
Decoding A -for upper grade students who are more than 2
years behind
-written at a first grade level
Decoding B1 -for upper grade students who are more than
2
years behind
-written at a first through second grade level
Decoding B2 -for upper grade students who are more than
2
years behind
-written at a second through third grade level
Comprehension A -an oral language/reasoning program
for
students who are behind
