Crete Middle School students and staff enjoyed a special treat on
Friday, May 1st, with the annual talent show. In previous weeks,
over 20 acts auditioned for the 9 spots in the talent show. The
selected acts then performed in front of the entire student body
and a team of judges during the homebase event. The acts ranged
from piano and guitar solos, singing, dancing, tae kwon do, and
even a student solving the Rubics Cube in record
time.
A special wrap-up for the event was a cup-stacking demonstration by 6th grade world champion Noah Kingston. Winners of the competition were: 1st place - Taylor H. (piano); 2nd place - Garrett W. (guitar); 3rd place tie - Alan P. (piano) and Toni K./Michelle P. (singing duet).
We are fortunate to have such a talented group of students at the middle school! Thank you, Middle School Student Council, for sponsoring the event. (Please click the photos to see all the acts that performed in the show.)
