5th Grade Art Show and Music Program

The fifth grades at the Crete Elementary School, with help from
Mrs. Lenertz and Mr. Spence, will be presenting the 5th Grade Art
Show and Music Program on Tuesday, October 21st at 6:30pm. All
family and friends are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities at
the Elementary school.
The Art show is a collection of work done in art class by the 5th
grade students. The students have been learning about and working
on the still-lifes that have been set up in the classroom. The
students have found that in drawing still lifes, they need to be
very good at observing the different objects. We have also
discussed terms such as proportion, perspective, and depth. Each
5th grade student will have one piece of art to view. You can view
the art in the art room anytime from 5:30-6:15pm. It will only take
about 5-10 minutes to look at the art.
The Music Program is a collection of songs called “Every Day is
Earth Day”. The theme of the program is taking care of our planet.
Gymnasium Doors will open at 6:00pm. The Music Room Doors will open
at 6:10pm. Students may come down to the music room anytime after
6:10pm to get lined up and ready for the program at 6:30.
Program begins at 6:30pm and will last about 35 minutes.
