TumbleBooks at Crete Elementary

Crete Elementary is excited to introduce “TumbleBooks” to our students and their families. TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books, readable and audio books. There are around 200 quality books to read such as: Diary of a Worm, Enemy Pie, and The Three Silly Billies. These stories may be read in English, Spanish or French. After reading the book you may take a 5 question quiz to check comprehension, or play a correlating game to go with the story. Students at Crete Elementary have been introduced to these online books while in the media center. TumbleBooks are available for student use in the media center, computer lab and at home.
You may access TumbleBooks at home by going to the Crete Public Schools website, www.creteschools.com. Then click on the red TumbleBooks button on the right. This will take you to the TumbleBooks site, our Username is: crete, and our Password is: books. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to read with your children!
