School Starts August 12

Welcome to a New School Year! The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 12. School will begin at 8:15 for Middle School and High School students and 8:15 for Elementary students. Are Your Children Registered?

Thursday, August 12 , is the first day of school for students attending the Crete Public Schools. All children who reach age five on or before October 15, 2010 are eligible to be registered for kindergarten. If your child is starting kindergarten or you're new to the district, your child(ren) must be registered before they are allowed to attend the first day. Students can be registered in the elementary and high school office from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the summer. TeamMates Tour Osborne Complex

Go Big Red! On Tuesday, June 1, Crete Middle School and High School TeamMates toured the Osborne Complex on the UNL Campus. We began to stand a little taller with each step we took. Learning about the “Pride of Nebraska” made us proud to be “Husker Fans.” As we walked through the “tunnel walk” jumping up to touch “the horseshoe” and then down the red carpet we could hear the fans and feel the goose bumps building, although the stadium was empty.
