Dental Health Month

The month of February was designated as “Dental Health Month” for the first grade students at Crete Elementary. Our goal was to help children learn about proper oral hygiene and develop good dental health habits that would last for a lifetime.
Children enjoyed learning about the importance of good dental care such as brushing, flossing, dental checkups, and good nutrition, through activities, demonstrations, and videos. At the end of the unit, each child was given a student dental care kit to take home.
