The Crete Board of Education met on January 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Doane College Perry Campus Center for a board retreat. Board members present were Dennis Isernhagen, Tom King, Laura Ebke, Kim Buser, Matt Hanson, and Bill Lorenz. Also present were Superintendent Kyle McGowan, Principals Tim Conway, Kim Jacobson, and Bret Schroder, Assistant Principals Diane Bruha and Steve Teget, Curriculum Director Valorie Foy, and Business Manager Sandra Rosenboom.
The meeting, having been duly preceded by advance notice and conducted in accordance with the posted open meetings law, was called to order by President Hanson at 6:00 p.m.
Motion #16-08 Laura Ebke moved to enter executive session at 6:01 p.m. to discuss personnel and facilities issues with no business to follow. Tom King seconded the motion. On roll call: Voting Aye: Hanson, Isernhagen, Ebke, King, Lorenz, Buser. Voting Nay: None. Motion carried: 6-0.
Motion #17-08 Laura Ebke moved to exit executive session at 9:38 p.m. Dennis Isernhagen seconded the motion. On roll call: Voting Aye: Hanson, Isernhagen, Ebke, King, Lorenz, Buser. Voting Nay: None. Motion carried: 6-0.
Motion #18-08 Laura Ebke moved to adjourn at 9:39 p.m. Dennis Isernhagen seconded the motion. On roll call: Voting Aye: Hanson, Isernhagen, Ebke, King, Lorenz, Buser. Voting Nay: None. Motion carried: 6-0.
