Crete Middle School Drop Off and Pick-Up Procedures
In an effort to create a safe and efficient drop off and pick up system for our students we ask that you follow the following guidelines:
- The north entry road is for buses and staff parking only between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
- The south entry road is for parent drop off and pick up of students and for visitor parking.
- Vehicles should NOT stop at any time in the circle turn around area in front of the school while dropping off or picking up students between 7:45 am and 3:45 pm.
- Vehicles should stop in front of the orange traffic cones when dropping off or picking up students.
- When picking up your student please encourage them to walk to a prearranged spot somewhere along the long entry drive that leads into the school.
- When waiting or picking up a student along this drive please make sure to pull up closely to the curb so that other cars may continue to move along the loop in both directions.
- Remember to drive slowly and carefully while around the school, especially while in the turn around loop in front of the main entrance and while driving along the sidewalk that leads to the main entrance. This is extremely important after school when we have many students exiting the building at the same time.
We have had a great start to the school year and would like to thank all the parents and guardians for doing an excellent job of following the above guidelines. Following these guidelines helps us create a safe and efficient system for our students.
