Welcome to the Crete Public Schools homepage. Within this site and its companion page, creteschools.org, you will find an abundance of information about our schools. Not only will you learn about the school system as a whole but also get a glimpse of what is happening in and out of the classroom. This site is designed to give you up-to-date information about Crete Schools. The teaching staff, support staff and administration will update this site regularly.

The information provided will give both those familiar to our schools and visitors for the first time a glimpse of a vibrant and productive school system. You will find that the Crete Public Schools are meeting the challenges of providing students with an excellent education including outstanding academics and award-winning activities. With over 116 certified staff and nearly an equal amount of support staff, our district is meeting the challenges of the twenty-first century with enthusiasm, pride, and dedication.

This site will provide everything from menus to calendars. It will also reach beyond the building levels and let you look at employment opportunities, board agendas and minutes, newspaper articles, links to education sites and other sites of interest. We will do everything we can to keep this site current and informative. We have not abandoned our hardcopy newsletters or relationship with the Crete News. In fact, we will use the site to help us provide better and more current traditional ways of communication. As this site grows, so will our communication outside of this web page.

As you explore our web pages, we encourage you give us feedback. The staff is open to suggestions and hope that this site will become one of your favorites. We feel that we have incorporated what our public wants in the way of up-to-date information. As superintendent, I hope you will check this site out daily.
