The October test date is a high priority date for senior students but the December date is also in time for most scholarships.
The ACT is the most widely used college-entrance test in our
area. Testing is available at Doane College and most of the
Lincoln High Schools. Registration packets are
available in the Career Center but students are encouraged
to register on-line at www.act.org. The
registration fee is $30.00 (no writing) with an additional $19. fee
for late registration. The registration fee is $44.50
including the Writing. Most students do not take the writing
portion, nor are most colleges requiring it. Be sure to have your credit card
available to make payment when registering on-line.
The Career Center has many study preparation books, cd's and
materials that can be checked out. Sample questions are also
available on line at www.act.org
and at www.collegeboard.org.
Be sure to enter our High School Code number of 280-585.
