CMS Has a Blast at the Back to School Party

More than 175 CMS 5th and 6th graders attended the Back to School Party last Friday afternoon. The party was sponsored by the middle school student council. Students played soccer and enjoyed games such as tag in the gym, bowling and ping pong in the hallways. They also watched a movie in the commons and had fun hanging out with their friends. CMS Enjoys Back to School Dance

Over 150 CMS 7th and 8th graders attended the Back to School Dance last Friday night. The dance was sponsored by the middle school student council . Students enjoyed dancing to the music provided by the D.J., as well as hanging out with their friends. A special thanks to the staff members and parents who helped sponsor. CPS Welcomes New Teachers

The new teachers for Crete Public Schools had an orientation on Monday, August 2, to familiarize them with the school district and fill out the necessary paperwork for employment. Their first official day to prepare for the new school year is August 9. With new teachers joining veteran teachers, there is always an air of excitement and anticipation. The Crete Public Schools feels very fortunate in being able to hire such an outstanding new group of teachers. read more
